Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of marine electrical lights (hereinafter referred to as lights). This standard is applicable to the design, production and acceptance of all kinds of navigation lights (including side lights, mast lights, stern lights, towing lights, and all-round lights) with AC (50Hz or 60Hz) and DC power supply voltages below 250V.
