Scope
This standard specifies the normative requirements during the installation, acceptance and use of wooden stairs, including terms and definitions, preliminary preparations, installation, acceptance, use and maintenance. This standard applies to the installation of assembled wooden stairs and their wooden components in residential buildings. This standard does not apply to the installation of wooden stairs in public places and outdoors.
