GB/T31001-2014 "Test Images for Subjective Evaluation of High Definition Digital Television" was officially implemented in 2015. The standard aims to provide standardized test tools and methods for subjective evaluation of image quality of high-definition digital television systems. By using specific test images, the performance of television systems and equipment can be accurately evaluated.

3. Technical background and evolution analysis

Technical background:With the rapid development of high-definition digital TV technology, traditional test methods can no longer meet high-definition requirements. This standard fills the gap in the field of high-definition TV testing in China.

Technical evolution:From GY/T228-2007 to GB/T31001-2014, the complexity and diversity of test images have been significantly improved, and dynamic sequence tests have been added, which are closer to actual application scenarios.

  • Storage and distribution:Ensure that the test images are stored and transmitted in 10-bit quantized and uncompressed formats.
