《GB/T 31033-2025石油天然气钻井井控技术要求》由TC355(全国石油天然气标准化技术委员会)归口,TC355SC4(全国石油天然气标准化技术委员会钻井工程分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准委。
Introduction
Core changes in the standard revision
| Technical areas | Requirements of the 2014 version | Updates to the 2025 version |
|---|---|---|
| Definition of sour wells | Hydrogen sulfide>50ppm | Hydrogen sulfide>75mg/m³ (equivalent to 50ppm) |
| Blowout preventer configuration | Maximum pressure of 70MPa | Newly added 140MPa blowout preventer combination |
| Safety distance | Including mine passage requirements | Delete the mine distance clause, and add 8m spacing between sulfur-containing wells |
Analysis of key technical requirements
4.1 Well site safety layout
The new standard clearly states: The distance between high-voltage lines is ≥75m, schools and hospitals are ≥500m, and sulfur-containing oil and gas wells (H₂S≥1000ppm) must maintain a well spacing of drilling platform length + 8m.
4.6 Drilling fluid density design
Case: The measured formation pressure of a gas well is 70MPa. According to the new standard, it is required to:
- Benchmark density: equivalent formation pressure equivalent value
- Additional safety value: 0.07-0.15g/cm³ or 3.0-5.0MPa
- Sulfur-containing formation: the upper limit value must be taken
Well control device management
5.2 BOP remote control console
Installation location requirements: ≥25m from the wellhead, and regulations:
- Hydraulic pipelines and blowdown pipelines are arranged separately
- The shear gate control handle needs to be limited to prevent misoperation
- The fully sealed gate handle needs to be equipped with a protective cover
5.15 Pressure test specifications
| Equipment type | Test pressure | Pressure drop requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Annular BOP | Rated 70% | ≤0.7MPa/10min |
| Gate BOP | Rated pressure | ≤0.07MPa(low pressure) |
Hydrogen sulfide protection upgrade
8.2.7 PH value control
Drilling fluid needs to be adjusted 50m before drilling into the sulfur-containing layer:
- Normal situation: pH ≥ 9.5
- Aluminum drilling tools: 9.5-10.5
9.7 Blowout ignition procedure
Emergency process:
- Ignition decision made by the representative of the construction unit
- Mobile ignition device is used in the upwind direction
- Real-time monitoring of H₂S concentration in the downwind area
Implementation suggestions
Equipment upgrade focus
- Sulfur-containing wells must be equipped with shear gate blowout preventers
- Wells above 105MPa need to use Integral flange pipeline
Personnel training requirements
Blowout prevention drill time standard:
- Drilling/empty well: control within 3 minutes
- Tripping and lowering drill collars: control within 8 minutes
