Background and Significance of Standard Formulation
With the growing demand for high-performance insulation materials in the electrical industry, GB/T31135—2014 "Fiber-reinforced Unsaturated Polyester Powder Molding Compound for Electrical Use (UP-PMC)" came into being. This standard is based on the ISO14530 series and is adjusted in accordance with the actual domestic situation to ensure the advancement and applicability of technical indicators.

UP-PMC materials are widely used in transformers, switchgear and other fields due to their excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Selection and verification: Select appropriate reinforcement materials and matrix resins according to the application environment. For example, GF30+MD50 formula is recommended for high temperature environments.
Test method: Carry out mechanical properties, electrical strength and other tests according to standard requirements, and ensure that the sample preparation conditions (temperature, humidity) comply with GB/T2918-1998.
Storage and transportation: Keep the packaging intact, avoid moisture and high temperature, it is recommended to store in a cool and dry place, and conduct type inspection regularly.
