This standard mainly stipulates the test method for determining the dry heat shrinkage of dipped canvas in a horizontal position, and is applicable to dipped canvas made of fiber materials.

With the continuous improvement of the performance requirements of dipped canvas in the industrial field, dry heat shrinkage, as an important indicator to measure its stability, urgently needs a unified test method. This standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Rubber and Rubber Products.
