Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

The public information guidance system of tourist attractions is an important facility that provides tourists with accurate and clear guidance and information services. With the rapid development of tourism, the scale of scenic spots continues to expand, and the needs of tourists are becoming increasingly diversified, which puts higher requirements on the functionality and intelligence of guidance systems.

2. Analysis of the Evolution of Standard Technology

Version Main Changes Scope of Application
2015 Edition - First release, laying the foundation
- Contains basic guidance element design requirements
Applicable to the design and setting of guidance systems in tourist attractions
2024 Edition - Add barrier-free demand guidance elements
- Detailed requirements for safety signs and behavioral indication signs
- Add a new chapter on general requirements
Add specifications for new guidance methods such as electronic guidance and voice guidance

3. Interpretation of core content

3.1 Composition of the guidance system

The tourist attraction guidance system consists of three parts: surrounding introduction system, tour guidance system and scenic area export system, forming a complete tourist guidance network.

3.2 Principles of guide element design

  • Give priority to the use of graphic symbols to ensure the intuitiveness of information transmission
  • Chinese and English translation, taking into account the language needs of ethnic minorities
  • Coordinate with the scenic environment and highlight cultural characteristics

3.3 Safety and behavior signs

Add a variety of safety signs and behavior signs, such as prohibition signs, warning signs, instruction signs and prompt signs, to ensure the safety of tourists.

4. Implementation Recommendations

4.1 Phased Implementation Strategy

  1. Assess the existing system: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the guide facilities in the scenic area to identify those that do not meet the new standards.
  2. Develop an update plan: Based on the evaluation results, update the guide elements in a prioritized manner, ensuring that core areas and high-traffic areas are completed first.
  3. Train relevant personnel: Train the new standards for scenic area staff to ensure correct understanding and implementation.
