Introduction

Standard Evolution and Technological Change

GB/T32.3-2020, as the third part of the GB/T32 series of standards, has achieved a comprehensive upgrade of the 1988 version of the standard. The main technological innovations are: optimization of specification classification (dividing the type and size into two tables of preferred/non-preferred), improvement of the technical system (adding technical conditions and reference standard tables). The history of this standard can be traced back to GB32 in 1958, and has gone through three versions in 1976 and 1988.
