1. Background and significance of standard formulation

GB/T 32367-2015 "Determination of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) Content in Whole Rubber Shoes" is intended to standardize the detection methods of volatile organic compounds in the rubber shoe industry to ensure product quality and environmental protection requirements. As consumers pay more attention to the environmental performance of footwear products, the determination of VOC, as a potential harmful substance, has become an important indicator of product quality.

2. Interpretation of the core content of the standard

This standard uses gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) as the main detection method. Volatile organic compounds are collected by Tennessee X TA adsorption tubes, and sample pretreatment is achieved by combining thermal desorption technology.
