1. Standard Overview
GB/T32371.2-2015 "Short-term measurement method for release characteristics of low-solvent or solvent-free adhesives after coating Part 2: Determination of volatile organic compounds" specifies the method for determining volatile organic compounds (VOC) after adhesive coating by adsorption-desorption gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-GCMS/FID) in a test chamber. 2. Background of standard formulation and analysis of technological evolution
With the improvement of environmental protection requirements, low-solvent and solvent-free adhesives are increasingly used. However, the volatile organic compounds released by these products during use may affect indoor air quality. In order to standardize the measurement methods, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the China National Standards Committee jointly developed the relevant standard system.
3. Implementation suggestions
- Prepare the test chamber and sampling equipment strictly according to the adsorption-desorption procedure to ensure that the sampling volume is controlled within the range of 5L~20L.
- When using TenaxTA equivalent materials as adsorbents, it is necessary to verify whether the blank level meets the requirements (TVOC does not exceed 20μg after deducting the interference peak).
- It is recommended to use a double-tube series sampling method and monitor the penetration rate (B ≤125%).
