GB/T 32411-2015 is China's first universal software typesetting standard for Uyghur, Kazakh and Kyrgyz scripts. The standard aims to regulate the development and application of multilingual text processing systems and ensure that text input, editing and typesetting meet the characteristics and needs of ethnic languages.
Background of Standard Formulation
With the development of information technology, especially in the context of globalization, the demand for multilingual text processing is growing. However, the lack of unified typesetting standards has led to many incompatibilities and quality issues in software support for Uyghur, Kazakh and Kyrgyz scripts.
