本标准适用于通信产品。

Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

As the world pays more and more attention to environmental protection and sustainable development, communication products, as the core infrastructure of the information society, have also attracted much attention in their impact on the environment throughout their life cycle. The formulation of GB/T32425-2015 "Guidelines for Environmentally Aware Design of Communication Products" aims to guide enterprises to consider environmental factors in the product development stage and reduce resource consumption and environmental pollution through optimized design.

2. Comparison table of standard frameworks

Standard dimensions GB/T32425-2015 requirements International comparison (such as EU RoHS)
Material restrictions Prohibit the use of substances that are clearly prohibited by laws and regulations; reduce the use of toxic and hazardous substances. Basically consistent with RoHS requirements, but with more specific details.
Design requirements Modular design, easy to disassemble; optimize heat dissipation and energy-saving technology. In line with international leading standards, focus on the concept of circular economy.
Evaluation mechanism Evaluate design output item by item and optimize the solution to maximize environmental performance. Emphasis on continuous improvement and dynamic adjustment of evaluation criteria.

3. Implementation suggestions and case analysis

Implementation suggestions:

  • Enterprises should establish a dedicated environmental awareness design team to integrate the resources of R&D, procurement and marketing departments.
  • Introduce life cycle assessment (LCA) tools to quantify the environmental impact of the product throughout its life cycle.
  • Regularly review changes in regulations and market demand and adjust design strategies in a timely manner.
