Plastics - Phenolic resins - Determination of free formaldehyde content

1 Scope

This standard specifies the methods for determining the free formaldehyde content in phenolic resins and its modified resins.

This standard is applicable to the determination of free formaldehyde content in phenolic resins and its modified resins. The result only represents the actual free formaldehyde content in the resin during determination, and has no direct relationship with the free formaldehyde content during or after resin processing.
