Introduction
1. Background and significance of the standard
GB/T32745-2016 "Guidelines for Abrasion Protection of Small Hydraulic Turbines" is the first comprehensive standard in my country's water conservancy industry to address the abrasion problem of small hydraulic turbines in silt environments. The standard was proposed and managed by the Ministry of Water Resources, and aims to guide the design, manufacturing and operation of hydropower stations to take effective measures to reduce the damage of silt wear and cavitation to turbine components.
2. Comparative Analysis of Standard Frameworks
| Dimensions of Standards | Scope | Requirements | Technical Indicators |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sediment Data Survey for Power Stations | Newly built, expanded or renovated power stations | Comprehensive survey of hydrological and sediment data | Including key indicators such as multi-year average sediment content and flood season peak value |
| Material Protection Measures | Based on different degrees of abrasion | Select base material and protection process | Such as surfacing, HVOF spraying, etc. |
| Comprehensive protection strategy | Power station planning and design stage | Optimize turbine structure and operating conditions | Including reasonable arrangement of water guide mechanism and strengthening of leak-proof device design |
3. Implementation suggestions and typical cases
Case 1:A high-head mixed-flow power station significantly extended the service life of the runner blades by adopting the HVOF spraying process. The coating thickness is controlled at 0.3mm and the bonding strength reaches 70MPa.
Case 2:A low-head axial-flow power station selected epoxy corundum coating as the main protection measure, which effectively reduced the damage to the front of the blades caused by sediment wear.
