1. Background and significance of standard formulation

Narcissus yellow stripe virus (NY SV) is a pathogen that seriously affects the quarantine safety of narcissus and its products. The formulation of this standard aims to provide a scientific basis for entry-exit inspection and quarantine work and ensure the quality and safety of plant products in international trade. The main drafting units of the standard include the Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of the People's Republic of China, the China Institute of Inspection and Quarantine and other authoritative institutions.

Case: Quarantine and identification process of a batch of narcissus products

  • Sampling method: Random sampling in accordance with SN / T 2122.
  • Sample preparation: Symptomatic and asymptomatic samples are processed separately to ensure the representativeness and accuracy of the samples.
  • PT AE LISA initial screening: Positive results need to be further verified by RTP CR or real-time fluorescence RTP CR.
  • Final judgment: The sample test result is negative and does not carry narcissus yellow stripe virus.

  1. Laboratory conditions: Ensure that key equipment such as PCR instruments and fluorescent PCR instruments are equipped.
