GB/T 33169—2016 "Community Elderly Day Care Center Facilities and Equipment Configuration" was issued on October 13, 2016 and officially implemented on May 1, 2017. The standard was proposed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China and aims to standardize the requirements for the facilities and equipment configuration of urban community elderly day care centers to ensure that the day care services for the elderly in the community can meet their basic needs and improve their quality of life.

2. Standard Framework Comparison

Reception Area The environment is clean and tidy, equipped with office desks and chairs, seats and small item storage cabinets. It is advisable to configure auxiliary equipment such as magnifying glasses and desk lamps to improve convenience.
Entertainment area Basic entertainment facilities such as tables and chairs, poker, chess, mahjong, etc. It can be equipped with televisions, audio and video playback equipment and educational equipment to enrich the forms of activities.
Rest area Chairs or sofas for lunch breaks are equipped with necessary living utensils. It is advisable to use foldable and extendable sofas and configure call devices to ensure safety.
