Introduction
1. Background and significance of standard formulation
Galvanized welded wire mesh is an important industrial material and is widely used in construction, planting, breeding and other fields. The formulation of GB/T 33281-2016 standard aims to regulate product quality, ensure its safety and reliability, and promote technological progress in the industry.
2. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Standard dimensions | GB/T 33281-2016 | Comparison with previous versions of standards | Aligned with international standards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope and applicability | Galvanized welded mesh for construction, planting, breeding and other purposes | New applications in the transportation industry | Compliance with relevant ISO standards |
| Material requirements | General purpose low carbon steel wire (YB/T5294) | New coating quality regulations | Consistent with EN 10276 standard |
| Technical indicators | Mesh deviation ±5%, zinc layer quality ≥140g/m² | Optimized tensile strength requirements | Aligned with ASTM A653 standard |
3. Interpretation of the main contents of the standard
3.1 Product marking and naming rules
The marking of galvanized welded wire mesh is DHW, and the format is: DHW D×J×W. For example, a galvanized welded wire mesh with a wire diameter of 0.70mm, a warp mesh length of 12.7mm, and a weft mesh length of 12.7mm is marked as: DHW0.70×12.70×12.70.
3.2 Size and deviation requirements
According to Table 1 and Table 2, the length, width and mesh size of the welded mesh must meet the specific deviation range. For example, the wire diameter of the galvanized welded mesh with a mesh number of 40×40 is 1.6mm, and the warp mesh length and weft mesh length are both 10mm.
3.3 Quality requirements and test methods
The standard specifies technical indicators such as the quality of the galvanized layer, mesh deviation, and arc edge amplitude of the welded mesh. For example, the quality of the galvanized layer must be greater than 140g/m², and the immersion time of the copper sulfate test is divided into 60 seconds and 30 seconds according to the wire diameter.
4. Implementation suggestions
- Manufacturers: Strictly purchase materials, produce and test according to the standards to ensure that product quality meets the requirements.
- Users: Select galvanized welded mesh products that meet the standards, and conduct acceptance and storage according to the specifications.
- Regulatory authorities: Strengthen supervision and inspection to ensure that products circulating in the market meet national standards.
