1. Background and purpose of the standard

GB/T 33615-2017 "Test Method for Electromagnetic Shielding Effectiveness of Clothing" is the first national standard for civilian anti-electromagnetic radiation clothing, which aims to provide a scientific and unified test method for the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of clothing.

With the popularization of electronic devices, the problem of electromagnetic radiation is becoming more and more serious, especially in urban environments, and people's demand for wearing anti-electromagnetic radiation clothing is increasing. The formulation of this standard fills the gap in this field at home and abroad, ensuring the consistency of product quality and test results.

3. Interpretation of the core content of the standard

3.1 Test site and environmental conditions

Test site requirements:The test is carried out in a semi-anechoic chamber, and absorbing materials are laid to reduce floor reflection. The electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the darkroom should be greater than 60 dB.

Environmental conditions:The temperature is controlled at (23±5)℃, the relative humidity is 40%~80%, and there is no significant air flow and electromagnetic interference in the test area.

3.2 Test system requirements

Signal generator:Frequency range covers 80 MHz ~ 6 GHz, output level range -50 dBm ~ 0 dBm, VSWR ≤1.5.

Field strength measurement device:Frequency range is the same as above, measurement range is 0.5 V/m ~ 800 V/m, probe isotropic error is ±0.5 dB.

3.3 Test procedure

Test steps:Includes system calibration, unshielded state measurement (E₁), shielded state measurement (E₂), and SE value calculation.

Key formula:SE = 20 log(E₁/E₂), the result is rounded to one decimal place. If SE is negative, only E₁ and E₂ values are recorded.


4. Implementation Suggestions

4.1 Choose the right test equipment

It is recommended to give priority to signal generators and field strength measurement devices that meet the requirements of the standard to ensure that their frequency coverage and dynamic range meet the requirements.

4.2 Ensure environmental condition control

In actual tests, temperature, humidity and electromagnetic interference must be strictly controlled, and additional shielding measures can be taken if necessary.

4.3 Human body model and clothing adaptation

Select size models that comply with the provisions of GB/T 1335 to ensure that the clothing is in normal wearing condition during the test. For special styles of clothing, the specific test parameters need to be determined in consultation with the relevant parties.
