Introduction

National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 33900—2017 Industrial Internet of Things Instrument Application Attribute Protocol

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

With the rapid development of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technology, Industrial Internet of Things Instruments play an increasingly important role in modern industrial production. GB/T 33900—2017 standard came into being, aiming to unify and standardize the application attribute description format of Industrial Internet of Things Instruments, and ensure that instruments of different brands and models can achieve interconnection and information sharing.

This standard was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation and managed by the National Technical Committee for Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation Standardization. It fills the gap in the field of industrial Internet of Things instrument application attribute standardization in China and provides unified technical specifications for upstream and downstream enterprises and related research institutions in the industry.

2. Industrial Internet of Things Instrument Application Attribute Framework

According to the definition in Section 5.1 of the standard, the application attribute description of Industrial Internet of Things instruments includes five core parts: structural attributes, functional attributes, performance attributes, location attributes and commercial attributes, forming a comprehensive and detailed instrument description system.

Attribute category Key description item Application scenario example
Structural attributes Power supply method, explosion-proof form, communication method, etc. Instruments suitable for dangerous explosive environments must be marked as flameproof or intrinsically safe.
Functional attributes Basic functions such as measurement, display, control, and recording For example, a flow meter must support the measurement and recording of instantaneous flow and accumulated flow.
Performance attributes Technical indicators such as accuracy, communication interval, and energy consumption High-precision sensors must meet the measurement error requirement of ±0.1%.
Location attributes Geographic information such as longitude and latitude, altitude, and relative position Applicable to logistics and transportation or remote monitoring scenarios, supporting GPS positioning.
Commercial attributes Information such as manufacturer, price, and delivery time Help companies refer to market quotations and delivery cycles when making purchasing decisions.

3. Comparison of standard frameworks and implementation recommendations

Based on the overall structure defined in Section 5.7 of the standard, we have comprehensively sorted out the existing industrial IoT instrument application attribute description system, and put forward the following implementation recommendations based on actual application scenarios:

Case study: Application of temperature sensor in a petrochemical plant

  • Structural attributes: The explosion-proof type is flameproof, which is suitable for dangerous explosion environments; the communication method uses the wireless ZigBee protocol.
  • Functional attributes: Supports temperature measurement and data logging, and displays the measured value in real time on the display.
  • Performance attributes: The measurement accuracy reaches ±0.5%, and the communication interval is set to 3 seconds to meet high-frequency monitoring needs.
  • Location attribute: Installed on the top of the reactor, the longitude and latitude information is integrated into the factory management system.
  • Commercial attribute: Provided by a well-known sensor manufacturer, the price is 1200 yuan/unit, and the delivery cycle is about 7 days.
