1. Standard Overview
The National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 33906-2017 "Large-Scale Electronic Flash Devices for Photography" (hereinafter referred to as "this standard") was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Photographic Machinery. This standard is mainly applicable to electronic flash devices for photography with AC and DC power supplies and stored energy of more than 100 joules.

3. Interpretation of core technical requirements
3.1 Model naming and nominal energy value
The nominal energy value must be included in the flash device model, and the nominal energy value deviation should not exceed 10% of the stored energy value. This requirement ensures product consistency and traceability.
3.2 Flash index and measurement method
The flash index is an important indicator for measuring the performance of the flash device. The nominal value should be based on the nominal index at 220V±1V. The limit deviation between the measured value and the nominal value is ±0.5 EV.
3.3 Technical requirements for effective illumination angle
The nominal value of the effective illumination angle should be no less than 55°, and the measured value should not be lower than the nominal value. At the same time, the limit deviation of light output between the four points on the edge of the cross and the center point is -1.0 EV.
