Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage requirements of cardanol-modified phenolic resin for composite materials (hereinafter referred to as cardanol-modified phenolic resin). This standard is applicable to thermoplastic modified phenolic resin products obtained by replacing part of phenol with cardanol, polycondensing with formaldehyde under acidic conditions, and removing small molecules in vacuum.
