《GB/T 34101-2017燃料油中硫化氢含量的测定 快速液相萃取法》由TC280(全国石油产品和润滑剂标准化技术委员会)归口,TC280SC1(全国石油产品和润滑剂标准化技术委员会石油燃料和润滑剂分会)执行,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
1. Standard Overview
GB/T 34101—2017 "Determination of Hydrogen Sulfide in Fuel Oil - Rapid Liquid Phase Extraction Method" specifies the method for determining hydrogen sulfide in fuel oil by rapid liquid phase extraction, which is applicable to fuel oil with a kinematic viscosity of no more than 3000mm²/s, including marine residual fuel, distillate fuel and petroleum blending component oil.
2. Method Summary
A known mass of sample is injected into a heated test tube containing a diluted base oil, and hydrogen sulfide gas is extracted by air bubbling. Method A uses a gas phase processor cooling filter box to capture hydrogen sulfide, while method B omits this step and directly determines.
3. Main instruments and equipment
| Instrument name | Model/specification | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Hydrogen sulfide analyzer | See Appendix A, divided into methods A and B | Used to measure the concentration of hydrogen sulfide gas |
| Analytical balance | Single or double pan, sensitivity 0.001g | Weighing samples and reagents |
| Syringe/burette | 20mL, accuracy ±1% | Inject diluent oil and sample |
Note: All instruments need to be calibrated and maintained regularly according to the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Calibration and Precision
The precision data of Methods A and B come from repeatability and reproducibility studies in different laboratories:
| Test Procedures | Repeatability/mg·kg⁻¹ | Reproducibility/mg·kg⁻¹ | Hydrogen Sulfide Content Range/mg·kg⁻¹ | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Method A (Distillate and Residual Fuel Oil) | 0.3329 X 0.55 | 0.4459 X 0.55 | 0.60~12.5 | |
| Method B (distillate fuel oil) | 0.2099 X 0.7 | 0.2389 X 0.55 | 0.40~15.3 | |
| Method B (residual fuel oil) | 0.2970 X 0.6 | 0.5232 X 0.55 | Same as above | |
5. Implementation Suggestions
Laboratories should:
- Choose Method A or B according to the nature of the sample
- Calibrate the instrument regularly to ensure accuracy
- Properly store and handle reagents and materials
- Ensure that operators receive adequate training
6. Calculation and presentation of results
The hydrogen sulfide content is calculated according to formula (1):
X = (A × M) / m
Wherein, X is the hydrogen sulfide content (mg/kg), A is the integral area (mV·s), M is the calibration constant (μg/mV·s), and m is the mass of the sample (g).
7. Precautions
Hydrogen sulfide is a toxic and flammable gas. Operators should wear protective equipment and conduct experiments in a fume hood.
