Introduction

National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 34165—2017 Specification for Energy Conservation Monitoring of Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems

Background and Significance of Standard Formulation

With the rapid development of my country's oil and gas transportation industry, the problem of energy consumption has become increasingly prominent. The formulation of GB/T 34165—2017 "Specification for Energy Conservation Monitoring of Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems" aims to provide scientific basis and normative guidance for energy conservation monitoring of oil and gas pipeline systems, so as to achieve efficient utilization of resources and environmental protection.

This standard was proposed and coordinated by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and is applicable to oil and gas pipeline systems between the external transmission stations and user receiving stations of crude oil, refined oil and natural gas production enterprises.

Monitoring items and indicator requirements

Equipment type Monitoring items Limit value Energy saving evaluation value
Oil-fired heating furnace Thermal efficiency(%) ≥78 ≥81
Gas-fired heating furnace Thermal efficiency(%) ≥80 ≥83
Crude oil pump unit Unit efficiency (%) ≥54 ≥58
Natural gas compressor unit Unit efficiency (%) ≥73 ≥75

Test methods and implementation requirements

According to the standard, the energy-saving monitoring test method for oil (gas) heating furnace shall be implemented in accordance with SY/T 6381; the test for coal-fired boiler shall be based on GB/T 15317.

Case Analysis: Pump Unit Efficiency Improvement

A certain oil station improved the unit efficiency from 56% to 62% by optimizing the operating parameters of the < b>crude oil pump unit, saving more than 1 million yuan in energy costs annually.

Monitoring Result Evaluation and Report Requirements

  • When all monitoring items reach the energy-saving monitoring limit value at the same time, the equipment is rated as "Energy-saving Monitoring Qualified Equipment";
  • On this basis, the equipment whose efficiency index reaches the energy-saving evaluation value is rated as "Energy-saving Monitoring Energy-saving Operation Equipment".

Implementation Suggestions

To ensure the effective implementation of the standard:

  1. Strengthen the management of < b>power supply and distribution system to reduce line loss rate and transformer load factor;
  2. Perform < b>pipeline wax cleaning operations regularly to reduce throttling loss rate;
  3. Introduce an online monitoring system to achieve real-time monitoring of energy consumption.
