Introduction
GB/T 34189—2017 Interpretation of the Standard for Portland Cement for Pipe Pile Without High Pressure Steam
1. Background of Standard Formulation and Analysis of Technology Evolution
Portland cement used for pipe pile without high pressure steam is a special cement developed to meet the demand for high-performance concrete materials in modern civil engineering. With the widespread application of prestressed concrete pipe piles (PHC pipe piles) in construction projects, their production process and performance requirements have also evolved. The formulation of the GB/T 34189—2017 standard fills the gap in the field of cement for pipe pile without high pressure steam in China, and provides a normative basis for the research and development, production and application of this material.
2. Comparative analysis of standard frameworks
| Dimensions | GB/T 34189—2017 | International standard (reference) | Old version of the standard |
|---|---|---|---|
| Terms and definitions | Newly added terms such as "pressure-free steamed pipe pile cement" and "steam-cured strength". | In line with international standards, unified definitions are adopted. | No special terminology specifications. |
| Component requirements | Specify the proportions of clinker, gypsum and admixtures (70%-90% for silicate cement clinker, 10%-30% for slag powder/fly ash, etc.). | Meet the requirements of ISO standards for high-performance cement. | The proportion of components is not specified. |
| Strength grade | Unified as 52.5MPa, codenamed PPC. | In line with European standards. | No single grade is specified. |
3. Recommendations for standard implementation
Raw material selection:Portland cement clinker must meet the requirements of GB/T21372, and slag powder should reach S95 grade or above. Gypsum material selection should give priority to natural G or M grade II and above.
Production process optimization:It is recommended to use new grinding aids (no more than 0.5% of cement mass) to improve the strength of clinker and the activity of mineral admixtures through process improvement.
Quality Control: Establish a complete factory inspection system, focusing on monitoring chloride ion content, coagulation time and steam curing intensity indicators. Users can negotiate alkali content requirements based on project needs.
