1. Background and Significance of the Standard

GB/T 34206-2017 "High Corrosion Resistant Alloy Ribbed Steel Bars for Marine Engineering Concrete" was issued in 2017, mainly to regulate the corrosion resistance of steel bars in concrete structures used in marine environments. With the rapid development of marine engineering construction in my country, the corrosion resistance of traditional steel bars in harsh environments such as salt spray, humidity and heat is insufficient, so this standard came into being.
