Introduction

GB/T 34342—2017 Standard Interpretation

Standard Background and Significance

GB/T 34342—2017 is an important standard in the field of building energy conservation, mainly used to guide the detection of heat transfer coefficient of building envelope structures. With the continuous improvement of my country's requirements for building energy conservation, the formulation of this standard provides a technical basis for ensuring building energy efficiency.

This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Building Energy Conservation Standardization. The main drafting units include the China Academy of Building Research and other authoritative institutions.

Detection Principle and Method

This standard uses a combination of hot box method and cold box method to measure the heat transfer coefficient. By establishing a stable heat flow environment, the temperature is monitored on the inside and outside respectively using the metering hot box and cold box devices.

Standard framework Detection principle Scope of application Detection conditions Hot box method Establish temperature difference through internal heating Applicable to detection when the internal and external temperature difference is stable Used when outdoor temperature ≤25°C Cold box method Lower temperature through external cooling Applicable to detection in high temperature environment Must be used when outdoor temperature>25°C Combined use Use hot box and cold box devices together Applicable to various climatic conditions Ensure that the indoor and outdoor temperature difference is ≥13K

Testing equipment and technical requirements

According to Appendix A, the testing equipment includes:

  • Metering hot box: size requirement ≥1000mm×1200mm×220mm
  • Environmental heater: power ≥180W
  • Controller: with temperature control and data acquisition functions

Equipment calibration requirements:

  • Temperature sensor accuracy ±0.5°C
  • Power meter accuracy ±0.5% FS
  • The hot box correction factor needs to be calibrated every two years or after 30 tests (Appendix B)

Implementation recommendations

To ensure the effective implementation of the standard, it is recommended that:

  1. Equipment calibration: Calibrate the metering hot box and cold box devices regularly to ensure measurement accuracy.
  2. Data collection: Ensure continuous stable state monitoring for more than 96 hours, with a data interval of 30 minutes.
  3. Report writing: Include detailed test conditions, equipment information and result analysis (Appendix 8)
