Sanitary Ware - Smart Toilet

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, general requirements, use functions, performance requirements, electrical safety, test methods, inspection rules, marking and identification, instructions for installation and use, packaging, transportation and storage of smart toilet.

This standard is applicable to the smart toilet installed on water supply and drainage pipeline in all kinds of civil or public building with ambient temperature of 0℃ ~ 40℃, relative humidity of less than 95%, and static water pressure of 0.1MPa ~ 0.6MPa.

3 Terms and Definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 9195 and GB/T 6952-2015, as well as the following apply.

smart toilet
toilet that is controlled by electromechanical system or program to perform more than one basic intelligent function

3.2
integral smart toilet
smart toilet for which the smart electromechanical control system cannot be used separately with the toilet, and it is referred to as integral toilet

split smart toilet
cover of smart toilet for which the smart electromechanical control system is separated with the toilet, and the cover may be used after combination, and it is referred to as split toilet

3.4
basic smart functions for smart toilet (sitting WC pan)
most basic movements or abilities of the smart toilet, including the buttock washing function and the women's washing function

auxiliary smart functions for smart toilet (sitting WC pan)
functions added to improve the health and hygiene performances of smart toilets, including: water temperature adjustment, seat temperature adjustment, mobile washing, nozzle self-washing, seat and cover slowdown, hot air drying, air temperature adjustment, nozzle adjustment and automatic flushing

4 Classification

4.1 Classified by material

According to the material, the smart toilet can be classified into ceramic smart toilet and non-ceramic smart toilet.

4.2 Classified by flushing water consumption

According to the flushing water consumption, the smart toilet can be classified into common smart toilet and water saving smart toilet.

4.3 Classified by heating method

According to the heating method, the smart toilet can be classified into instantaneous smart toilet, thermal storage smart toilet and mixed type smart toilet.

4.4 Classified by structure

According to the structure, the smart toilet can be classified into integral smart toilet and split smart toilet (cover of smart toilet).

5 General Requirements

5.1 Appearance quality

5.1.1 Ceramic toilet part

The appearance quality of ceramic toilet part shall meet the requirements of 5.1 in GB/T 6952-2015.

5.1.2 Non-ceramic toilet part

5.1.2.1 Surface defects

After installation, the visible surface shall be smooth and flat without scratch, crack, or bump, and shall be free from obvious defects such as ripple, ash contamination, pitted surface, bubble, and impurities.

5.1.2.2 Color difference

There shall be no obvious color difference for a product or accessory product.

5.1.2.3 Gloss

There shall be no obvious gloss difference for a product or accessory product.

5.1.3 Toilet cover

The toilet cover shall meet the following requirements:

a) The identification on operation panel is simple and easy to understand, and the operation position is clear and feels good;

b) The outer surface shall be smooth without scar, crack, damage, etc.;

c) The body contact part shall be free from convex angle, needle-like protrusions, etc.
