Introduction
1. Background and significance of standard formulation
GBT 34575-2023 "Railway Locomotive and Vehicle Converter Equipment Locomotive and EMU Auxiliary Converter" is a technical standard for the design, manufacture, acceptance and use of auxiliary converters installed on electric locomotives, electric multiple units and diesel locomotives. This standard replaces the original GBT 34575-2017 version, and mainly comprehensively revises and optimizes the scope of application, environmental conditions, technical requirements, etc.
2. Comparative analysis of standard frameworks
| Standard version | Scope of application | Environmental conditions | Technical requirements | Test methods |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GBT 34575—2017 | Only applicable to auxiliary converters of electric locomotives | Cooling performance requirements are not specified | Detailed parameters of duty cycle and output characteristics are not involved | The test method is relatively basic |
| GBT 34575—2023 | Applicable to auxiliary converters of electric locomotives, electric multiple units and diesel locomotives | Specific requirements such as altitude, temperature and humidity are specified | Added detailed parameters of load duration, output characteristics and cooling method requirements | The test method is more comprehensive, covering complex environmental tests such as high temperature startup, alternating damp heat, etc. |
3. Detailed explanation of technical requirements
Environmental conditions:The auxiliary converter needs to adapt to different altitudes and temperature conditions, and the maximum working air temperature can reach 70°C. In low temperature environments (such as -40°C), it must still maintain normal operation.
Product form:It is divided into two forms: auxiliary converters integrated in the traction converter cabinet and auxiliary converters in separate cabinets. The former saves more space, but has higher requirements for integration; the latter has strong independence and is easy to maintain and expand.
