GB/T 34624-2017 Technical Specifications for Springs for Fully Enclosed Motors and Compressors specifies the structural type, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cold-rolled helical springs made of round cross-section materials for fully enclosed motors and compressors. This standard applies to support springs, including equal-pitch cylindrical helical compression springs, equal-pitch truncated cone helical springs and equal-pitch concave helical springs.

3. Materials and manufacturing requirements
Material selection:It is recommended to use the materials listed in Table 2, including cold-drawn carbon spring steel wire (GB/T 4357), oil quenching-tempered spring steel wire (GB/T 18983) and important purpose carbon spring steel wire (YB/T 5311). Other materials can be agreed upon under special circumstances.
Manufacturing process:It must comply with standard drawings and technical documents, including cold rolling, grinding, heat treatment and other processes. Shot peening treatment requires a surface coverage of ≥90% and a strength range of 0.15~0.4 A.
4. Test method analysis
The test includes permanent deformation test, load and stiffness test, dimension measurement (outer diameter, inner diameter, free height), form and position tolerance detection, etc. Among them, the verticality and straightness detection requires the use of a wide-seat square and parallelism detection tools.
5. Implementation suggestions
- Material selection:Give priority to the steel wire material recommended by the standard to ensure that the performance meets the requirements.
