Key technical points

1. Particle size analysis system

The standard adopts a dual-track detection scheme:

  • Laser scattering method: Applicable to the range of 0.1-3000μm, the shading degree needs to be controlled at 10-20%
  • Sieving method: There are two sieves: metal wire mesh (block silica gel) and perforated plate (spherical silica gel)
Application case: Microsphere silica gel detection must first be subjected to ultrasonic dispersion (power>100W) for 3 minutes, and the silica refractive index parameter of 1.46 is selected for calibration.

2. Adsorption performance test

Establish a three-level humidity control system:

  1. The static method uses a sulfuric acid solution gradient (20%-90%RH)
  2. The dynamic method needs to control the air flow rate to 2-2.5L/min
  3. Color identification requires a standard chromatogram

Standard evolution analysis

Main upgrades compared to the old standard:

  • Added guided spouted bed abrasion rate determination method (specially for microsphere silica gel)
  • Introduced a rapid moisture meter to replace the traditional oven method
  • Refine the CO₂ adsorption determination operating procedures
