Standard Framework and Technology Evolution
As the fourth part of the GB/T 34923 series of standards, this specification systematically constructs the technical system of street light controllers for the first time, reflecting the technical evolution path from traditional time control to intelligent networking. The standard formulation brings together the technical achievements of 12 units including the China Electric Power Research Institute, reflecting the in-depth application of Internet of Things technology in the field of municipal lighting.

1. Environmental adaptability
The standard divides the working environment into three levels, C1-C3. Level C3 requires the controller to operate stably under extreme temperatures of -40℃~+85℃ and a humidity range of 10%~100% (including condensation).
