Introduction
Standard Background and Technology Evolution
This standard was jointly developed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and 18 other companies including ABB and Haier, and established a coding system covering all scenarios of smart homes for the first time. Compared with international protocols such as Zigbee HA and Z-Wave, GB/T 35143 innovatively proposed a three-level device classification architecture (major category/medium category/minor category) and a unified variable number allocation rule.

- Manufacturer Coding Specifications: EAN-13 manufacturer codes must be applied for, and device types are strictly assigned according to the standard appendix
- Data Interaction Protocol: It is recommended to use the compact format of "variable number + parameter value", such as setting the power supply:
0030 01 - Fault Handling Mechanism: Classify according to four levels: danger/fault/warning/reminder, and give priority to 1101-1113 danger level alarms
