Introduction
Superfine Portland Cement GB/T 35161—2017 Standard Overview
This standard specifies in detail the terms and definitions, composition and materials, classification codes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, factory delivery, delivery and acceptance, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of superfine Portland cement. It is applicable to superfine Portland cement used in projects such as building foundation reinforcement, structural maintenance, and leak plugging grouting.
Standard Framework Comparison
| Standard Dimensions | GB/T 35161—2017 | Reference Standards | Comparison Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope of Application | Ultrafine Portland cement for building foundation reinforcement, structural maintenance, plugging and grouting. | - | Formulated for special engineering needs. |
| Chemical Composition Requirements | - The magnesium oxide content (mass fraction) shall not exceed $5.0\%$, which can be relaxed to $6.0\%$ if the autoclave stability test is qualified. - The sulfur trioxide content (mass fraction) shall not exceed $3.5\%$. - Loss on ignition (mass fraction) is not more than $5.0\%$. - Chloride ion content (mass fraction) is not more than $0.06\%$. | GB/T 176 | Strict requirements on chemical composition to ensure stable cement performance. |
| Physical performance indicators | - Setting time: initial setting is not less than $30\mathrm{min}$, and final setting is not more than $600\mathrm{min}$. - Boiling stability is qualified. - Particle size requirements: Grade I and Grade II meet the requirements of Table 1 respectively. | GB/T 1346 | Comprehensive physical performance indicators to ensure cement construction performance. |
Case analysis of the practical application of ultrafine silicate cement
Taking a large hydropower station foundation reinforcement project as an example, ultrafine silicate cement was used for grouting. The project selected Class I ultrafine silicate cement (U·PI, 52.5) with a strength grade of 52.5, and its D90 and D50 were $9.0~\mu\mathrm{m}$ and $4.0~\mu\mathrm{m}$ respectively. Field tests have shown that the cement exhibits excellent fluidity, early strength and stability in foundation reinforcement, meeting the needs of the project.
