《GB/T 35359-2017燃油滤清器 单次通过原始滤清效率试验方法》由TC114(全国汽车标准化技术委员会)归口,TC114SC25(全国汽车标准化技术委员会滤清器分会)执行,主管部门为工业和信息化部。
Introduction
In-depth analysis of the test method for the single-pass original filtration efficiency of fuel filters
This standard specifies in detail the test method for the filtration capacity of fuel filters for particles of a specific particle size in a single-pass test, aiming to evaluate the actual performance of the filter.
1. Background and significance of the standard
As modern automotive engines continue to increase their requirements for fuel quality, fuel filters need to face the characteristics of low viscosity fuel and one-time pass during the filtration process. Therefore, the single-pass test method can more truly reflect the actual use of fuel filters.
2. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Standard name | Scope of application | Test method | Main technical requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| GB/T 35359-2017 | Engine fuel filters and other filters used for fuel filtration | Single-pass test method, using particles of specified particle size for testing | Technical requirements for flow control, impurity concentration, pressure drop, etc. |
| ISO 12103-1:1997 | Road vehicle fuel filter test | Particle removal capacity test using A2 fine ash | Particle contamination analysis, flow control and other requirements |
3. Implementation recommendations
3.1 Test preparation phase
Before conducting the filter test, ensure that the cleanliness of the test system and the ash filling system meets the requirements. Use test oil that complies with SAE J1696 and control the temperature within the range of 40±5°C.
3.2 Precautions during the test
- Ensure that the flow of the ash filling system is stable to avoid the test results being affected by flow fluctuations.
- Take samples regularly and analyze the impurity concentration to ensure that the test conditions meet the standard requirements.
- During the installation of the filter, pay attention to the impact of its vertical or horizontal installation method on the test results.
3.3 Data Analysis and Processing
Count particles according to the requirements of GB/T 18854, and calculate the filtration ratio and filtration efficiency. Ensure that the accuracy of all measurement data is within the allowable range to ensure the validity of the test results.
3.4 Acceptance and Report
After the test is completed, check whether the filter has cracks, and record the shell pressure drop and the initial and final volumes of the ash filling system. Finally, a detailed data report is formed, including the particle classification analysis results and filtration efficiency calculation.
