Implementation steps:

1. Selection stage: Select the appropriate polyamide locking layer type (R or F) according to the specific application scenario.
2. Torque test: Carry out initial and repeated use tests in accordance with standard requirements to ensure that the screw-in, tightening and screw-out torques meet the requirements of Table 1.
3. Temperature adaptability verification: For applications in high temperature environments, additional torque tests under high temperature conditions are required.
4. Packaging and storage: Externally threaded fasteners with locking layers should be sealed and packaged to avoid moisture, and should be used within 4 years.

Application case:

A certain automobile manufacturer adopted the GB/T35478-2017 standard to conduct torque tests on the M10×40 bolts it produced. The results showed that both the tightening torque and the unscrewing torque met the requirements of Table 1 under room and high temperature conditions. By implementing this standard, the company has significantly improved the anti-loosening performance of fasteners.
