GB/T 35678-2017 "Technical Requirements for Images in Public Security Face Recognition Applications" is a technical specification for face images in face recognition applications in the public security field. This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China and aims to unify the requirements for the collection, detection and storage of face images in face recognition systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of face recognition systems.

3.2 Posture Angle Control

The standard clearly stipulates that the posture angle of the face must be within a certain range (pitch angle ±10°, horizontal rotation angle ±10°, tilt angle ±10°) to avoid face recognition errors caused by posture deviation. This requirement is verified through actual cases, and the accuracy of the system is tested under different postures.
