Background and significance of standard formulation
GB/T 35782—2017 Technical Specifications for Swap Trailer Transport of Road Vehicles is a technical standard formulated for the characteristics of road swap trailer transport operations, aiming to regulate the production and use of semi-trailer tractors, semi-trailers and articulated trains. The standard was proposed by the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Road Transport Standardization.
With the development of my country's logistics industry, swap trailer transport has gradually become one of the mainstream transportation methods due to its high efficiency and economy. Practical application case analysis
Case 1: Tensioner matching in high container transportation
In high container transportation, the height requirement of the tensile strength of the semi-trailer tractor is 1080 mm~1100 mm mm (see Figure 1). This design ensures the stability and safety of high containers. At the same time, the front turning radius of the traction seat is not less than 2120 mm to meet complex road conditions.

Case 2: Fuel Consumption Optimization of Articulated Trains
According to standard requirements, the specific power of articulated trains is not less than 5.4 kW/t, and the maximum speed at full load is not less than 100 km/h. A logistics company reduced fuel consumption by 15% and significantly improved operational efficiency by upgrading the power system of its articulated trains and optimizing loading strategies.
