I. Background and significance of standard formulation
Pyropia yezoensis (Pyropia yezoensis) is an important economic seaweed, widely used in food and medicine. However, traditional cultivation methods have problems such as low efficiency and waste of resources. To this end, the national standard GB/T 35898—2018 systematically regulates the full floating raft cultivation technology, aiming to improve the yield and quality of Pyropia and optimize the utilization of marine resources.

III. Cultivation management and harvesting technology
Case analysis:In a laver cultivation demonstration area in Jiangsu Province, a fully floating raft cultivation method is adopted. By reasonably setting the frame spacing (more than 50m) and cable spacing (10m~11m), the efficient use of a single net curtain is achieved. Each 9m×1.8m cultivation net can produce about 240 laver sheets/66m².
IV. Standard implementation suggestions
- Sea area selection:Prioritize the sea area with a minimum tide level of more than 5m and a salinity of 20~30 to ensure that the water quality meets the requirements of GB 3097.
- Facility maintenance:Regularly check the net curtain and frame, replace damaged parts in time, and maintain the integrity of the facility.
- Daily management: Strengthen inspections, remove algae, and ensure that the net curtains are flat and tight.
