Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and descriptions, test principles, specimens, test methods, determination of bidirectional stress-strain curves and test reports for the biaxial tensile test method of thin metal strip cross-shaped specimens. This standard is applicable to the test of measuring the stress-strain curve of the metal sheet in the bidirectional tensile test of the cross-shaped sample with a plate thickness of not less than 0.1 mm and not more than 0.08 times the sample arm width (see Figure 1). The test temperature range is 10 ℃ ~ 35 ℃. Biaxial tensile tests under other temperature conditions can also refer to this standard.
