In order to meet the market demand for high-performance touch screens and ensure product quality and safety performance, the national standard GB/T 36259-2018 "High-aluminum silicate glass for touch screen cover" came into being.

Chemical strengthening performance requirements
Stress layer depth needs to be ≥35μm (0.3mm thick) and ≥40μm (0.7mm and above) to ensure that the glass surface has sufficient impact resistance. Chemical strengthening is achieved through ion exchange process, and the specific parameters are as follows:
- Processing temperature: 430°C
- Processing time: 0.3~0.7mm≤6.5h; ≥0.7mm≤7h
- Impact resistance height after strengthening: 40cm (thin slice)/50cm (thick slice)
IV. Recommendations for standard implementation
- Quality control:Strictly monitor the alumina content during production to ensure that it meets the 12% lower limit requirement.
- Process optimization:It is recommended to use a fully automatic surface stress meter to detect the effect of chemical strengthening treatment.
- Environmental factors:It is recommended to conduct bending strength tests in a temperature and humidity controlled environment (temperature: 20±5°C, humidity: 40%-80%).
