Scope
This standard specifies the minimum character set of Hui-bone Mongolian, the variant display form of each nominal character and the use rules of its control characters. This standard applies to information processing of Hui-bone Mongolian, including coding, exchange, storage and display. This standard does not specify the coding position of isolated variant display characters, mandatory compound characters and non-mandatory compound characters of Hui-bone Mongolian. The coding system architecture adopted by this standard is consistent with the coding system architecture specified in GB/T 13000. This standard specifies punctuation marks, numbers and control characters unique to Hui-bone Mongolian, and gives the coding positions of these characters in GB/T 13000, and specifies the use rules of variant display characters and control characters of Hui-bone Mongolian. This standard does not specify the coding position of isolated variant display characters, mandatory compound characters and non-mandatory compound characters of Hui-bone Mongolian.
