《GB/T 36376-2018太阳能熔盐(硝基型)》由TC63(全国化学标准化技术委员会)归口,TC63SC1(全国化学标准化技术委员会无机化工分会)执行,主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies the application specifications of potassium nitrate/sodium nitrate based molten salts in solar thermal power generation, focusing on the control of 12 key indicators such as decomposition temperature and specific heat capacity. According to the use temperature, it is divided into:
Class I products: binary system (KNO₃ 40%±0.5% + NaNO₃ 60%±0.5%), suitable for 250-530℃ high temperature scenesClass II products: ternary system (including NaNO₂), suitable for 160-400℃ medium temperature scenes
Comparative analysis of technical indicators
| Parameters | Class I products | Class II Type I | Class II Type II |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main component ratio | KNO₃/NaNO₃=4:6 | KNO₃ 53%+NaNO₃ 7%+NaNO₂ 40% | KNO₃ 55%+NaNO₂ 45% |
| Decomposition temperature (℃) | ≥575 | ≥450 | |
| Specific heat capacity (J/g·K) | 2.95-3.26 | 2.95-3.12 | |
| Water content (superior) | ≤0.1% | ||
Key detection methods
1. Determination of potassium nitrate by sodium tetraphenylborate method
The content is calculated by the precipitation generated by K⁺ and [B(C₆H₅)₄]⁻, and the absolute error is ≤0.3%. It is necessary to use a glass sand crucible (5-15μm) and a constant temperature water bath (45±1℃).
2. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
When determining the melting point and specific heat capacity, the heating rate is required to be 10-20℃/min, sapphire is used as the standard material, and the measurement accuracy is ±2%.
Safety Warnings and Implementation Recommendations
According to GB12268-2012, this product is a Class 5.1 oxidizing substance and requires the following for storage and transportation:
- Use Class II packaging (≤50kg/piece)
- Maintain relative humidity in the warehouse ≤40%
- Keep ≥0.8m from reducing substances
Actual application case: A 50MW solar thermal power station uses Class I molten salt. During operation, the barium ion content must be strictly controlled to ≤0.001% to prevent scaling of the heat exchanger.
Background of Standard Evolution
With the growth of installed capacity of CSP, the 2018 standard has:
- New technical indicators for Class II products
- Introduction of ICP-OES for heavy metal detection (detection limit of 0.001μg/mL)
- Improvement of thermal property test methods (DSC/TGA combination)
