Case background:A steel company needs to regularly test the boron content during the production of ferroboron to ensure product quality.

Implementation steps:

  1. Sampling and sample preparation in accordance with GB/T4010, ensuring that the sample particle size all passes through the 0.088mm sieve.
  2. Use analytical balance (sensitivity 0.1mg) to weigh 0.50g of sample.
  3. Use anhydrous sodium carbonate and sodium peroxide to melt and decompose the sample, and then extract and filter it with water.
  4. Use an acidometer and sodium hydroxide standard solution (c=0.1mol/L) to titrate and record the consumed volume.
