Introduction
1. Standard Overview
GB/T 37041-2018 Fine Barite Powder specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of fine barite powder. This standard is applicable to fine barite powder for materials such as coatings, plastics, rubber, paints and inks.

3. Interpretation of key test methods
Determination of barium sulfate content: The acid dissolution method is used to determine the barium sulfate content through high-temperature melting, precipitation reaction and other steps. This method has high accuracy and repeatability.
Total iron content determination: Two methods, o-phenanthroline colorimetry and sulfosalicylic acid colorimetry, are used for different ranges of iron content detection. Both methods have high sensitivity and selectivity.
105℃ volatile content determination: Thermogravimetric analysis is used to measure the mass change of the sample under constant temperature conditions and calculate the volatile content. This method is simple and reliable and suitable for large-scale sample detection.
