GB/T 37050—2019 Fastener Thread Inspection System is an important standard for quality control of fastener thread products in my country, aiming to standardize the inspection methods and acceptance requirements of fastener threads. This standard is applicable to the quality inspection of external and internal thread products to ensure the reliability of products during manufacturing, assembly and use.

Background of Standard Formulation

With the rapid development of the machinery industry, fasteners, as key components, play an important role in aerospace, automobile manufacturing, construction and other fields. However, the quality problems of fastener threads may lead to serious safety accidents or economic losses. Therefore, it is urgent to formulate a unified inspection system standard.

GB/T 37050—2019 combines advanced thread inspection technologies at home and abroad, absorbs the experience of international standards such as ISO and ASME, and forms a inspection system framework suitable for my country's national conditions.

Technology Evolution Analysis

From GB/T 37050-2019, it can be seen that the fastener thread detection technology has evolved from traditional qualitative inspection to modern quantitative measurement:

  • Traditional method:Relying on limit gauges and go/no-go gauges for detection, it is suitable for simple geometric parameters.
  • Modern method:Introducing high-precision measuring instruments (such as thread micrometers, optical comparators) and digital analysis technology, it can accurately evaluate complex parameters such as tooth profile deviation and pitch deviation.

Implementation suggestions

Choose a suitable inspection system:Based on the technical requirements and economy of the workpiece thread, the most stringent inspection system (C > B > A) is preferred. If special inspection parameters are required, they can be expanded on the basis of the standard system.

Calibration of measuring instruments:All measuring instruments need to be regularly verified or calibrated to ensure that their accuracy meets the test requirements. It is recommended to refer to the provisions in GB/T 28703-2012 "Cylindrical Thread Test Method".

Surface roughness control:Surface roughness directly affects the fit performance and wear resistance of the thread. For products with high precision requirements, the Ra value should be strictly controlled and evaluated using roughness comparison samples or measuring instruments.
