Introduction
1. Background and purpose of the standard
GB/T 37145-2018 "Mechanical structure of withdrawable functional units in low-voltage cabinets" is mainly aimed at withdrawable functional unit mechanical structure products with rated voltage below AC 1000V or DC 1500V. Its purpose is to ensure the safety, reliability and interoperability of low-voltage electrical equipment and to standardize the design, manufacturing and inspection requirements of products.
2. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Standard dimensions | GB/T 37145—2018 | Comparison with international advanced levels |
|---|---|---|
| Environmental adaptability | Temperature range: -5℃ to +40℃, altitude not exceeding 2000m | IEC standard: wider temperature range, higher requirements |
| Insulation performance | Specific parameter requirements such as creepage distance and insulation resistance | In line with international standards, some indicators are on par or leading |
| Mechanical properties | Including shock, collision, vibration and other test requirements | Complies with relevant standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) |
3. Interpretation of the main contents of the standard
3.1 Environmental adaptability requirements
The standard specifies the applicability of the product under different environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, altitude, etc. For example:
- Temperature range:The maximum ambient temperature shall not exceed +40℃, and the minimum temperature shall not be lower than -5℃
- Altitude:shall not exceed 2000m
- Humidity requirements:The relative humidity shall not exceed 50% at high temperatures, and higher humidity may be allowed at low temperatures
3.2 Insulation performance requirements
Insulation performance is a key indicator to ensure electrical safety, including:
| Project | Specific requirements |
|---|---|
| Creep distance | Based on the rated insulation voltage, the minimum creepage distance is shown in Table 1 (for example: 50V corresponds to 1.9mm) |
| Insulation resistance | Basic insulation is not less than 2MΩ |
3.3 Mechanical performance requirements
Mechanical performance tests include impact, collision, vibration and other aspects:
- Impact test:Acceleration peak value 500m/s², duration 11ms
- Collision test:Acceleration peak value 250m/s², duration 6ms
- Vibration test:Frequency range 10Hz to 150Hz, duration 10 minutes
4. Implementation suggestions
4.1 Design stage
During the product design stage, focus on:
- Material selection:Prioritize the use of high insulation and high temperature resistant materials
- Structural optimization:Ensure mechanical strength and sealing performance
- Functional verification:Carry out environmental adaptability and mechanical life tests in advance
4.2 Production stage
During the production process, it is recommended to take the following measures:
- Quality control:Perform surface inspection and insulation test strictly in accordance with standards
- Equipment calibration:Ensure that the accuracy of the test equipment meets the requirements
- Staff training:Improve the technical level of operators
4.3 Inspection and certification
To ensure that the product meets the standards, it is recommended:
- Type test:Inspection by national accreditation bodies
- Factory inspection:Use sampling or one-by-one testing methods
- Marking and identification:Ensure that product information is clear and easy to identify
