Terminology system framework

This standard constructs four major terminology systems including coal and its products, coal classification, coal analysis and processing and utilization, adds 23 terms such as civilian coal and lignite, and deletes 18 outdated terms such as coking coal for smelting.

Key technical changes

Terms of coal quality characteristics

Vitrinite reflectance: Added a dual parameter system of Rmax and Rran, and clarified that the upper limit of anthracite is 8.0%.

Heating value system: Improved the definition of constant volume/constant pressure low heating value, and added environmental protection indicators such as the sulfur content of coal emission.

1. In the sampling stage, new standard methods such as the chessboard reduction method should be given priority.
2. Coal evaluation requires simultaneous detection of reactivity (CRI) and post-reaction strength (CSR)
3. A separate detection system should be established for water-coal slurry-based indicators

This standard has been revised four times, with major technical changes:
