Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

With the widespread application of Internet of Things technology in the transportation industry, the demand for unique identification of various physical and logical entities is becoming increasingly urgent. GB/T 37375-2019 "Rules for Identification of Transportation Internet of Things" came into being, aiming to standardize the identification and coding system of employees, transportation tools, infrastructure and other objects in the transportation field.


2. Design principles of identification and coding system

  • Compatibility and scalability: Compatible with existing relevant standards and support the addition of new fields and new objects in the future.
  • Controllability and openness: Adopt an open and loosely coupled management method to achieve internal autonomy and control of the industry and interconnection and interoperability with the outside world.
  • Comprehensiveness and uniqueness: Comprehensively cover various objects in the transportation industry to ensure the uniqueness of identification and coding.
  • Integrity and security: Includes classification, identification assignment, system analysis and management agencies, and has security mechanisms.

3. Identification coding structure and rules

4. Identification and coding resolution system

The identification and coding resolution system for the transportation industry adopts a hierarchical management method, and the upper-level resolution system maintains information and performs distributed resolution. The parsing process complies with the requirements of GB/T 35299-2017 and GB/T 35300-2017.


5. Implementation Recommendations

  1. Standardization training: Provide systematic training on identification rules for practitioners in the transportation industry to ensure understanding and correct application.
