Standard Framework and Development Background
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Concrete Standardization, and jointly drafted by 7 units including Sujiaoke Group. As my country's first special standard for asphalt mixture terminology, it integrates the terminology definitions of 42 domestic and foreign technical specifications such as JTG, AASHTO, and BS EN, and establishes a complete terminology system.

Volume design method needs to control four core indicators:
- Void ratio Va: 3-6% (dense gradation)
