Analysis of Core Evaluation Indicators

1. Resource Richness Grading

According to the annual total horizontal radiation (GHR), it is divided into four levels:

  • Grade A (most abundant): ≥6300 MJ/m²(1750 kW·h/m²)
  • Grade B (very abundant): 5040-6300 MJ/m²
  • Grade C (abundant): 3780-5040 MJ/m²
  • Grade D (general): <3780 MJ/m²

2. Stability calculation method

GHRS = (monthly minimum average daily radiation)/(monthly maximum average daily radiation)
Grade Threshold range Applicable system type
Very stable (A) ≥0.47 Off-grid system priority
Stable (B) 0.36-0.47 Applicable to grid-connected system

Data collection specifications

Instrument requirements

Measurement equipment that complies with 5 supporting standards including global pyranometer(GB/T 19565-2017) must be used

Quality control process

  1. Integrity check: data missing rate ≤5%
  2. Reasonableness verification: Passed the triple test of climatological limit value/internal consistency/range of variation
  3. Interpolation method: Priority is given to the extraterrestrial radiation ratio method (Appendix B)

Engineering application case

Northwest photovoltaic base assessment example

A 200MW project was measured using a CMP11 type pyranometer:

  • Annual GHR: 5820 MJ/m² → Class B is very abundant
  • GHRS: 0.52 → Class A is very stable
  • DHRR: 0.58 → Class B has more direct radiation

Based on Article 8.6 of the standard, it is suitable for the construction of a tracking photovoltaic system
